Alpha Packaging is being honored today in Kansas City by the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry as one of Missouri’s fastest-growing companies over the past several years. In addition to the awards ceremony this evening, Alpha’s chief executive officer, Dave Spence, will participate in today’s Fast Track Leadership Roundtable discussion, part of the “Lead to Succeed” Leadership Retreat sponsored by the Missouri Chamber.

The Missouri Chamber Fast Track Awards have been presented annually since inception of the program in 2003. The award winners are selected from nominations received from Missouri Chamber members and local chambers of commerce. The Missouri Chamber reviews companies within eight revenue sectors—ranging from businesses with $1 million in annual revenues to businesses with over $100 million in annual revenues—and selects the companies that have experienced the greatest rate of growth in each sector over the last four years.

Spence says he is honored to be counted among Missouri’s fastest-growing companies, but emphasizes that this award really encompasses the success Alpha has had at all of its plants. “Our growth, both through acquisitions and through organic expansion, is dependent upon each of our six U.S. locations, and this award confirms the actions and efforts of every Alpha employee across the country,” says Spence. “We are proud to be recognized by the Missouri Chamber in our home state, and proud to be on the level of other highly successful Missouri firms.”
